Inspiring students since 2020
I’ve been a lecturer at VUB since 2020, teaching mechanics at Bachelor’s level and a robotics course at Master’s level. Every year, I have the privilege of imparting knowledge in mechanics and robotics to approximately around 300 students.
In my lectures, I first and foremost stress the importance of solid theoretical foundations. I’m all about taking what we learn in theory and applying it to real-world problems. I want to inspire students to think independently, critically, and creatively—encouraging them to approach challenges from different angles. And, I constantly remind students that learning should never stop. Continuous self-development is key to staying ahead in the ever-evolving landscape of knowledge.

Robotics II
In this Master-level course, we dive into subjects not typically covered in the standard curriculum but crucial for a well-rounded roboticist. Expert-led introductory lectures cover various technical topics. Additionally, we explore non-technical essentials for modern robotics engineers, emphasizing critical thinking, effective decision-making, and an understanding of the societal aspects of robotics.
